About RusticWares

Since 2013 RusticWares has been handcrafting goods for your home that serve a purpose.

Locate down a dirt road in Redding, CT and powered by solar panels and back-up batteries our workshop is a combination of old antique tools and modern day equipment. Our wood is sustainably harvested and local to the New England + New York region.

We feel the way to create value is to take raw materials and transform them in to something people use. Using our hands and creating a tangible good that fills a need or want for us and our customers. 

We LOVE knowing that we have sold hundreds, if not thousands of cutting boards, charcuterie platters, wood kitchen utensils, cozy incense cabins and comfort birds in person and around the country on our site. Knowing people have these in their homes and use them to feel at home, makes the hours of cutting, sanding and showing up to farmers markets and artisan fairs more than worth it.
